Let them eat Rainbow Cake.

If the idea of a three tiered cake with flowers on it doesn't appeal to you then maybe some of these quirky wedding cakes will help add a little flavour to your choices. Cakes don't just have to taste good, half of the appeal of food is what it looks like.

In the right wedding, this would be really quirky.

This isn't my taste, I wouldn't choose it, but it's amazing.

I have never seen square "cupcakes" like this.

I absolutely love the story this tells.

In a vintage wedding this would be divine.

This is really fun, I love that it's muted pastels.

Ok, so one for the scrabble lovers!

Children of the '80s rejoice, a Pacman cake.
This cake is also quite small; you shouldn't feel the need to have a cake to feed all of your guests unless you plan on serving it to them as the desert.

Yes, this is a cake.

Oh this makes me laugh every time I see it. Could you imagine dear old Grandma going over to have a little look at the cake and locking her eyes onto this!

This would be great way to let your friends and family know that you're moving overseas.

Beatlemania in Cake form.

This is really cute in an ultra-nerd way.

Nope, this isn't a 10 year old boys birthday cake, this is a wedding cake.

Angry birds is a new in thing, so it had to be in cake form of course.

Mario anyone?

I really like this, it must have a story behind it, and if it doesn't it looks great anyway.

No idea what this is but it's a really different kind of cake.

If you haven't yet seen the rainbow cake, here it is. This looks amazing when done as a surprise element. I've seen a cake table in all white, white napkins, white table cloth, white plates, white, white, white! Looking really chic and simple. When the bride and groom cut out a slice of their cake the guests "Oooh, Ahhh'd" in unison! It was a great little surprise.
