The Brooch Bouquet

A wedding bouquet can be one of those things you do because you think you have to. Well, if you're going to do it, really DO IT! And make it yours. Here's a selection of beautiful different bouquets that I love!

Honestly this intrigues me! I'm not sure how it's made but to me it looks like a collection of brooches on a hemisphere surrounded by feathers! How odd in writing but look at it, my word, it's beautiful. Love that. Get creative and crafty, start hopping the garage sales and car boot sales and digging around the local Vinnie's for all a serious vintage feel.

Here is another version of the Brooch Bouquet without the feathers. It is so bizarre but it's really pretty and you know that it will look amazing as a display piece in your home for years to come.

A girlfriend of mine is absolutely butterfly mad, and if she knew this was possible, I'm sure she would have opted for a bridal bouquet like this one in purple! You can find these little butterflies at the $2 shop and Spotlight and Lincraft (craft stores) - DIY and save some pennies.

A delicate, vintage feather and pearl bouquet. Some florists don't just do flowers, so if you're into this feathery feel then find yourself a florist with a bit of creative flare and issue them the challenge!

Who doesn't love buttons? Imagine a little flower girl coming down the aisle with this in her hands?

I cannot get enough of these Brooch Bouquets -Love Love Love! If you're thinking "Where am I going to find enough brooches to do that?" - Ebay! These enamel bits'n'pieces could be anything, I'd say, search for brooches, earrings and rings. Ask at work, for everyone to dig through their jewellery boxes, check out the cheap shops and as keep your eyes open for Garage Sales.

If the quirky colours in that last bouquet doesn't really fit with your wedding, then how about this one? It's pastel colours make it so easy on the eye and on a Sunny day, it would sparkle like crazy! Gorgeous.

Love the modern twist - it's odd but I love it.

Honestly, I just want to eat this, it's so gorgeous!

Buttons and felt, if you're Grandma is handy with the sewing kit, get her onto this one! Add in some more bling with crystals (or diamonte brooches) for a bit of extra sparkle, but I love the understated pearly tones with the quirkiness, Love.

Paper bouquet anyone? Yep, they're little rolls of paper.

I can't even begin to think how long this would have taken to make but it's really dainty and pretty don't you think? Beads, who would have thought.

Another brooch bouquet done with a winter wonderland feel.

Perhaps you're going a little bit oriental? This fan bouquet is gorgeous, simple and yep, different!

Sceptre Bouquet. This would love beautiful in a beach wedding, a Frangipani alternative.

A couple more of the brooch bouquets I found floating around, There different colours in the brooches are really pretty, I cannot stop looking at them, the visual interest is incredible.
